為推廣中大檔案文獻的使用，大學檔案組剛啓用「
大學檔案數碼資料庫」，供各界人士瀏覽。本資料庫收錄中大的出版物包括歷史檔案的掃描文本，及以數碼方式製作的出版物或網頁資料，以PDF格式保存，並支援全文檢索。目前收錄資料包括：
- 校園發展計劃——《香港中文大學校園發展計劃初步報告》(1964)˴《香港中文大學校園發展計劃報告書概要》(2009)及《香港中文大學校園發展計劃報告》(2010)。
- 新聞稿——1983˴1984˴1987-1997
本資料庫籌備多月，因檔案數碼化需要經過多重工序：從徵集檔案˴檢測˴修復˴掃描˴資料輸入˴圖檔品質檢驗˴文字辨識質素檢驗˴校正˴到上載至伺服器等，才可將成果呈現到大家眼前。檔案庫將不斷新增藏品，敬請密切留意。
The University Archives Digital Collection was launched recently to promote the use of the historical records of the Chinese University. The Collection aims to provide online access to periodicals and other materials published at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. It includes scanned copies of historical documents and born digital publications or web content. Files are in PDF format and full-text search function is available. Currently available titles are:
- Campus development plans – Chinese University of Hong Kong Development Plan Preliminary Report (1964), The Chinese University of Hong Kong Campus Master Plan Synoptic Report (2009), and The Chinese University of Hong Kong Campus Master Plan Final Report (2010)
- Press Releases – 1983,1984,1987-1997
This Collection has been prepared for months since the digitization works usually have to go through processes like document collection, preservation, scanning, data entry, image quality checking, OCR quality checking, correction, and uploading, etc. This is a growing collection so please pay close attention to the website.
