中大開放日 CUHK Open Day

為慶祝創校十周年，中大於1973年11月舉辦「中國文化節」，並首次設大學開放日，開放大學圖書館、中國文化研究所、范克廉樓以及三所書院 (崇基、新亞、聯合) 之學生宿舍予外界人士參觀，同場派發介紹中大各單位的小冊子，增加外界人士對中大的認識。

自1991年各學院亦舉辦開放日，開放實驗室、課室等設施，向中六及中七學生介紹學院課程。活動後更名為「本科入學資訊日」，一直舉辦至今。

To celebrate its tenth anniversary, CUHK held the "Chinese Cultural Festival" and its first "University Open Day" in November 1973. The University Library, the Institute of Chinese Studies, the Benjamin Franklin Centre, and the student hostels of the three Foundation Colleges (Chung Chi, New Asia, and United) were open to the public, and the brochures of CUHK units were distributed to the visitors.

In 1991, CUHK staged its first Faculty Open Day to introduce its academic programmes and facilities to local secondary six and seven students. The event was later renamed the “Orientation Day for Undergraduate Admissions”.
