中大校友日 CUHK Alumni Homecoming Day

中大於1990年12月2日舉辦首屆校友日，廣邀校友攜同親友重遊母校。早年校友日為不定期舉辦，自2005年開始校友日成為一年一度的盛事，每年吸引數以千計的校友及親友參加。
校友趁此機會了解母校發展動向之餘，更可參與連串精彩節目，包括遊戲攤位、綜藝表演、校園參觀活動等，熱鬧非常。
校友日最高興的莫過於隨同父母出席的小朋友，他們在廣闊的中大校園奔跑嬉戲，兒童遊樂設施更令他們樂而忘返！

CUHK held its first Alumni Homecoming Day on 2 December 1990, and later in 2005 this became an annual alumni event. The Alumni Homecoming Day encourages alumni and their families to visit their alma mater, and every year thousands of alumni and their love ones joined this event.
Besides knowing more about the latest development of the University, alumni can also participate in a grand carnival, stage performances, and campus tours, etc.
Children always have fun on Homecoming Day as there are plenty of games and activities for them to participate!

中大開放日 CUHK Open Day

為慶祝創校十周年，中大於1973年11月舉辦「中國文化節」，並首次設大學開放日，開放大學圖書館、中國文化研究所、范克廉樓以及三所書院 (崇基、新亞、聯合) 之學生宿舍予外界人士參觀，同場派發介紹中大各單位的小冊子，增加外界人士對中大的認識。

自1991年各學院亦舉辦開放日，開放實驗室、課室等設施，向中六及中七學生介紹學院課程。活動後更名為「本科入學資訊日」，一直舉辦至今。

To celebrate its tenth anniversary, CUHK held the "Chinese Cultural Festival" and its first "University Open Day" in November 1973. The University Library, the Institute of Chinese Studies, the Benjamin Franklin Centre, and the student hostels of the three Foundation Colleges (Chung Chi, New Asia, and United) were open to the public, and the brochures of CUHK units were distributed to the visitors.

In 1991, CUHK staged its first Faculty Open Day to introduce its academic programmes and facilities to local secondary six and seven students. The event was later renamed the “Orientation Day for Undergraduate Admissions”.

本科入學資訊日 The Orientation Day for Undergraduate Admissions (2015)

興建中的聯合書院 United College Under Construction

聯合書院於1956年成立，並於1963年成為香港中文大學的成員書院。書院早期向政府租用堅道及般含道樓房作校舍，至1971年12月才遷入沙田現址。首批落成建築物包括師生康樂中心大樓(現為張祝珊師生康樂大樓)、湯若望宿舍、文學院及行政大樓(現為曾肇添樓)、圖書館(現為胡忠多媒體圖書館)、商學及社會科學學院大樓(現為鄭棟材樓)等。其後書院再興建聯合苑(1976)、伯利衡宿舍(1978)、恆生樓(1986)、陳震夏宿舍(2004)等宿舍。

今年是聯合書院六十周年院慶，書院籌辦了很多活動，包括攝影比賽、千人宴、傑出學人講座、音樂派對等，詳情請按：http://uc60.uc.cuhk.edu.hk/zh-tw/

United College was found in 1956 and became one of the three founding colleges of The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1963. In early days United College rent premises on Caine Road and later on Bonham Road to serve as its campus, and in December 1971 the College moved to its present campus in Shatin. The first batch of the College buildings included the Staff/Student Amenities Building (later renamed Cheung Chuk Shan Amenities Building), Adam Schall Residence, the Arts and Administration Building (later renamed Tsang Shiu Tim Building), the Library (later renamed Wu Chung Multimedia Library), and the Commerce and Social Science Building (later renamed T.C. Cheng Building). Later the College constructed four more buildings i.e. United College Staff Residence (1976), Bethlehem Hall (1978), Hang Seng Hall (1986) and Chan Chun Ha Hostel (2004) as hostels.

United College is celebrating its 60th Anniversary with a series of celebrating activities, including Photo Competition, Feast-for-a-Thousand, Distinguished Visiting Scholar Lecture Series, Music Festival, etc. For more details please click: http://uc60.uc.cuhk.edu.hk/en-gb/

中大研究院半世紀 A Half Century of the Graduate School

今年適逢研究院成立五十周年(1966-2016)，大學展覽廳現舉辦小型專題展覽，介紹研究院發展，並展出研究院院務會第一次會議記錄 (1966)、首張博士學位畢業證書、手寫本碩士論文等珍貴展品。

In celebration of the Graduate School’s 50th anniversary (1966-2016), the University Gallery organized a mini exhibition to introduce the development of the Graduate School and display precious relics such as the minutes of first meeting of the Graduate Council (1966), first PhD graduation certificate, and handwritten master’s thesis, etc.

新亞書院紀念公園

1950年至1956年間，新亞書院租用深水埗桂林街61至65號三、四樓共約二千平方呎單位充當課室。儘管經營艱苦，卻無礙書院以傳承中國文化為己任，獲社會各界關注及支持，後來成為香港中文大學成員書院之一。

隨著市區發展，昔年四層高的舊房，今已拆卸，原址建新亞書院紀念公園，置有新亞首位畢業生余英時教授撰寫的《新亞書院紀念碑銘》、錢穆先生的校歌手稿牌匾、新亞書院平面圖等，供遊人緬懷先賢對辦學理想的堅持。

中大大學檔案顧問委員會於2016年6月27日舉行第一次會議。委員會成員包括中大教職員、校友、專業檔案管理人員等。會上眾人就大學檔案的發展方向、政策、工作計劃提出不少寶貴意見。
The fist meeting of the Advisory Committee of the University Archives, CUHK was held on 27 June 2016. The members, including University officers, alumni, and professional archivists, advised on the development, policies, as well as work plan of the University Archives.
